Plato??

"it is not being seen becauseit is a thing seen but on the contrary..."


I really was confused with the passage. I was interested in the back and forth notion of cause and effect. But overall I no idea how the context fit in the play.

Now that we have talked a little bit in class about the way Socrates works with ideas, do you have a better idea about what he is saying and doing here? What do YOU think?
