"Henceforth, my dear philosophers, let us be on guard against the dangerous old conceptual fiction that posited a "pure, will-less, painless, timeless knowing subject;"(p. 119 Nietzsche).
The quote reminded me of Socrates and the way that he spoke to those of the philosphy world. Also, the issue of how time is explained in both Trial and Death and Plato. It resembles the idea of death and how it is timeless and also painless.
